Scott B. Whitenack * Stubblefield is a sole practitioner and has worked in association and as co-counsel with Melvin M. Belli Sr. and Kevin McLean on several cases. He was admitted to practice law in 1982. He began practice of law as an associate in the Law Firm of Chaves & Sampson. In 1983, and became a partner in the Law Firm of Sampson and Whitenack. After a four-week jury trial, and a rendering of a verdict for intentional fraud against the defendants, which resulted in the Cory's receiving $1,250,000.00. This case is also cited in numerous legal publications and official reports as a leading authority on the measure of damages under CC Sec. 3343: Cory vs. Villa Properties (1986) 180 Cal. In another published opinion, he obtained a jury verdict of $177,998.00 in Sapp v Ali Samadani on May 20, 1999 involving an Automobile accident.
